Transfer-print pearlware plate
Plates like this were very popular on Saba during the
19th century (1800’s). This one is so far unique to the
island, and shows an early steamship with a clipper
ship in the background.
Manatee bone snuff inhaler
Made and used by the indigenous people of
Saba, some parts were originally painted and
the eyes were inlaid with another material
maybe shell or gold.
